Merry Xmas!by nico_blueComment: Interesting....A few comments that instantly popped into my head...
I would have tried using Red, Green Blue...Simply because that be the RGB color space. There is red...and it's a very overwhelming color especially for a background. I think you would have hade a bit more success with a grey or dark green backgrounds here. Or, even using a christmas tree to hang these off of and use as a background. Not sure I like the depth of field here. The first two are in focus and the third starts getting fuzzy on me. I like the diagonal arrangement though. |

Untitledby phylsy7Comment: Nice photo...There are a few things that are a bit on the distracting side...There is some noise...Particularly in the top left ornament. Also, the image isn't screaming tack sharp but I suspect both of these may be due to camera. It also appears to be a bit flat, perhaps due to lack of contrast. Composition is very good: ornaments meet at a cingle focal point which is approximately following the rule of thirds. The stripes also lead to the focal point. Good neutral background here. |

HOHOHOby djonsonComment: Nice but there's nothing in this photo that pops out as the primary subject. The red in the tires seems to lead the eye down there and I don't think you're selling tires or tricycles. |

Gods' spoon.by banditComment: I simply love the idea of this photo but I feel the execution is a bit off. I think it would have worked a tiny bit better if you had another hand holding the globe (if possible) and the hole would be in the top right instead of bottom left. And the edges seem to be too perfect. Maybe the small hole is throwing me off. But a very clever idea and I hope you do well. |

Going On Eighteenby davidus428Comment: A visit from the critique club.
I think this photo is outstanding. Exposure is perfect, the colors match well and depth of field is used quite well. The diagonal composition strengthens the image. It meets the challenge. I like the border around the photo too. Hard to find any flaws in this photo and the results show. Very nice finish! I think this should have been in the top 3. |
