madamby BlackboxComment: Brad, destructive is the word, hahahahaha! Don't you already know the Tribe, they sharpen their teeth for pics like this, hisss at the moon, dance in the sun an'then... an'then hit the 1 button. But yes it looks like the same variety of flutter-by. |

Utah Hoodoosby BlackboxComment: This is indeed a pic from a Photography Book.... or rather should be. I am impressed by the quality of color management as these shots are notoriously difficult to bring to life.
Please do yourself a favour, buy Dan Margulis's book titled 'Photoshop LAB Color'. A difficult read but once you grasp the basics and start playing with it, the results are astonishing.
This pic would have been scored a 10 by me.

Glacier reflectionsby ShutterPugComment: What a lovely location and composition thereof. Looking at the picture I am asking myself what is lacking, something is, and yet I can not put my finger on it. As this is such an interesting and potentially gorgeous landscape, I would think that a deeper blue and a slightly higher curve/black/contrast could make a difference. have you ever played with the LAB colorspace? Check 'Photoshop LAB Color' by Margulis out. It is worth it. Difficult but very valuable. |

An evening in St Marksby Ian-AndrewComment: A well exposed evening pic. The movement within the square keeps the eye in the picture whereas the blue sky and the physical structure provides a beautiful frame to thos inside. The hint of wetness enhances the subtle lights and reflections. Very good picture. |
