Pressureby MarfunComment: I thought this is quite creative and well executed. Gave it a 7. Still fancy it for a better score than what it got. |

Cobalt Shadowsby zencowComment: This one a few pix in this challenge that grabbed me. I would never have imagined that a bokeh can look that good! |

Self Portraitureby wingyisleedsComment: Lovely processing! Very good work by a very serious looking young man!
In fact it is excellent composition, the wall to the right leads the eye right to the face. The interplay of the lines and blocks are complimenting the composition. The catch lights in your eyes are nice. The monochrome really works well.
All in all an excellent job! Message edited by author 2010-10-05 14:29:40. |

Amanda Xby wingyisleedsComment: I love your toning, so much character. Try sharpening ONLY the eyes a bit more using Lightroom or Photoshop. |

Beth.jpgby wingyisleedsComment: Did you shoot this with a 50mm at f/1.8? note that the left eye is sharp as a minora blade, the right eye just , just getting out of the super sharpness range.
Model has beautiful eyes, love the innocence in the shot. Not everyone can get the essence, the feeling in portraiture. Good work. |

The Third Orderby AliciaComment: If it was not for the awful 2 sided so called border, it would have been a 10. I love your picture!!! |

Driftwood seagullby WhebbComment: I notice serious banding/noise. If you sharpen using the LAB color space in Photoshop, sharpen the L channel and you then Gaussian blur the A and B channels with a blur of 5/ radius 1, you will see a totally different pix. |

trying to make for a livingby fitz3000Comment: Fabulous sepia, character. Sad for the new trendy eye-stealing black monstrosity called a border. I do not take away from the picture, but by golly I hate the so-called border ;-) |
