like the post and expression, as well as the hard lighting. Would like to see how it would look with the light coming from the left side of the camera, so that the shadowed part of the face was towards the camera, may have been more dramatic.

digital rarely seems to handle blown-out areas very well, this shot may have been more compelling shot on film where you could get more out of the shadows and where the highlights wouldn't come on so fast. I'm not too experienced at digital, but if the rest of the scene could have been lit a little better, it might have helped to bring down the contrast and control your highlihgts a little bit. Interesting location and composition, though.

nice shadows from the trees, I like the high contrast that creates, the spots of light and dark. I wonder if a better composition could have been found that cut out the bacckground, since I think the most interesting aspect of the shot is the chairs and tables, and how their shapes mimic the shape of the light.
