The photo itself is good IMO but could be improved with sharper focus, and I would prefer great dof. But the message, the emotion, is SO strong. (8)

Extremely strong composition, I like it a lot. Returning to comment, considered bumping from it's current (8) but have decided to leave it there due to blown highlights on each bird. Still very, very nice shot.

Very nice! Precise focus on the lead flower (trillium?), and the oof green foliage in the b/g is perfect. Hope you don't mind me saying that the shot reminds me of a psychiatrist's inkblot test... "What do you see"?

Based on the shape of the ball, I would guess that the bat has already made contact. Slicing foul down the 1st base side?

EVEN THOUGH you did IMO use the title to more or less "shoe horn" this photo into the challenge, I'm scoring it as a (7) based on the shot itself which I like, and especially the humor factor... made me chuckle!
