Face Of Fearby EssAreDubyaComment: I wonder why he is afraid? Photo is a bit too soft, b/w conversion seems flat to me, too. 5 |

3 from Engine 3by shutterbug8Comment: You were right in the middle of the action! (Or is there a telephoto at work here?) I'm surprised that there isn't snow on the ground in Denver. |

Confessionsby muur88Comment: I like all that is going on in this photo: the person in the red jacket entering the green door seems key to the title. ...and the dog in the stroller?! The old gent on the left appears to be defying gravity! On the negative side, the distortion of the building (it seems to be leaning backwards) and the extreme dark v. light contrast detract from the photo IMO. 7 |

Brokenby violinist123Comment: Nice job with this one. Great separation between the subject and background. I like the detail shown in his face; you can get a feel for the individual. I think the tree is a bit unfortunate - for me it distracts by dividing the frame - but I still agree with your crop. 7 |

A Day in a Small Town USAby dsternerComment: Lots of snow there! I think this photo could be improved if the subject(s) were a more prominent part of the composition. Love the clock though! 5 |

Street guitarby candlerainComment: This is sharp and the color saturation is good, but it does seem to have a snapshot quality about it, like a photo of a friend. |

Waiting to Crossby timfythetooComment: Nice crisp shot, and good post processing. I like the context you've provided in this shot; the scale of the subject to his surroundings does give the sense of 'being there'. On the critical side, there is a voyueristic feeling, too. Although I feel the photo draws ME in, I don't get the feeling that you the photographer were involved in the time & place that I think a good street photo should provide. (Hope that isn't too confusing, but feel free to PM if it is). 6 |

Window Shoppingby karenkComment: This places highly on the cuteness scale! The b/w processing seems a bit washed out to me however. |
