Great shot and I love the title, it´s one of the best titles I have seen so far in this challenge and the aperture you used is pretty much perfect for this shot too. However it isn´t a wow photo but I still like it so I hope you do well in the challenge.

Awesome idea! This actually makes me think for a minute and that isn´t all too common on this site. Only thing is I think you could have lit the cross itself better, the lighting is too harsh and I guess you used a flash for this. I would have used a flashlight to "paint" the cross with light, enabling you to control the shadows more. The lighting drag it down from a 10 from me but I still gave you a 9 and it´s the highest from me so far in this challenge.

Too bad the basic rules prohibit this as a little burning of the grass (not literally of course) in photoshop would have really nailed this shot for me personally. Anyway, good job and what an odd sign, after the challenge is over I am going back to see where this is taken.

Good shot with good colours but did you include yourself in the frame for some reason? I try my hardest to avoid my own shadow, I would have rotated about 5 degrees to the left or just plain cropped it out because it really bugs the hell out of me, sorry :o)

Anyway, the shot itself is good, at least way above average in the competition, gave it a 7.

Good shot and great idea, I am sure some people will think it´s off topic but I am not one of them. Only thing I don´t like about it is that IMO it´s cropped a little tight around the girl, gives off a sort of claustrophobic feel, probably what you were going for but I think I would have liked a slightly wider shot better.

Anyway, good shot, I gave it an 8.

It´s a very nice shot, but I can´t help but wonder if it would have been awesome in colour, with a rich blue colour to the sky and a light brown tone to the sand.

It´s a good shot but IMO it would have worked better in panorama. Also a bit wider would probably have worked very well, that´s my 2 cents anyway.
