Bannedby BradComment: I haven´t seen many shots like this before, I both love it and hate it and it´s very wierd for me because normally I only feel one of those feelings towards a shot and normally neither as most shots I see on this site just seem to cruise in between.
The chain linked fence really irritates me and I keep trying to look past it at what´s beyond it but I can´t but at the same time if the chain linked fence wasn´t there this shot wouldn´t work at all so I can´t explain it. Let´s just say that I love to hate this shot and I mean that in the best way, it´s awesome!
Edit: I have come back too it three times now and it really strikes me more and more each time I see it. I love the monotone blue in it and the shape behind it and the post processing is awesome. I gave it a 10 and just added it to my favorites. Hope yo do well in this challenge. |

Oil and Waterby JackoComment: Awesome! I had a similar idea while I was cooking during the week but I didn´t try to execute the idea but I am sure it wouldn´t have looked half as good as this so I am glad I didn´t have the time to try this out. Anyway, I gave it a 9, hope you do well. |

I love my M&M's Seperatedby hdogg4uComment: Cool idea and shot, I love shots with short DOF but in this case I can´t help but wonder if the shot wouldn´t have worked better if the focus had been on the front 2 m&m´s, the yellow and red one instead of the ones that are 5 rows back. Just to be clear I like this shot, I hope you do well. |

Blurred Interlude by jjbeguinComment: Aweseome shot, I love the tones in it and it wasn´t hard to give this a 10. Hope you do well in the challenge.
Edit: I just finished voting and I felt compelled to come back and mention that this is the only 10 I gave this challenge and I just added it to my favorites. This is one of the best environmental portraits I have ever seen. Keep up the good work! |

Proud Papaby JackoComment: I believe congratulations are in order, you do the title justice as you look very proud indeed.
Anyway, the shot is so so, not good but not bad either so I gave it a 5. Looks like you got a nice candidate for a model though :o) |

Not Rockwellby graphicfunkComment: I think I know who you are... Graphicfunk? I think I owe you a comment, you have commented on lot´s of my shots and always been helpful and honest and I appreciate it.
Anyway, good shot, I love the tones in this image and usually I don´t like sepia but it works in this photo. Unlike most shots in the challenge this actually tells me a litte bit aboutyourself, you made the portrait very personal and thats good. The lighting is also very good. All in all, a very good job so keep it up. |

Framedby parrotheadComment: Good idea, I like just about everything about it and especially the composition but the glare/overexposure of the frame itself I find very distracting and it drags it down a notch. Keep up the good work! |

The Essential Toolsby scalvertComment: Funny idea, you just need some more creative lighting and this would be perfect, the lighting seems a bit flat and also could use a little contrast boost in photoshop. Anyway, I like it and keep up the good work. |

midnight in the gardenby grigrigirlComment: Awesome eyes. I hope you don´t take this the wrong way but when I viewed the thumbnail and before seeing the whole image in this size I immediately thought of Elijah Wood as Frodo. I know the soft focus is intentional but it doesn´t really appeal to me though but everything else I like about this shot, good use of light. Keep up the good work. |
