W I N Dby librodoComment: Great work Manny. You really live in a great part of the world for photography. So many opportunities around you to capture the culture and the array of colors.
I like this shot a lot. It's well composed with a nice soft background, great colors and good focus. I like how the smoke goes from being soft to crisp. Very nice light on your subject too, especially the sleeve. |

floes and stubble.jpgby Bear_MusicComment: I like this one a lot, especially the lower two thirds of the photo. The shapes of the broken ice and the contrasting color between the ice and water makes for a great composition. Nice work. |

Pink Drinkby utroComment: The concept for the photo is okay. Model is beautiful, you have met the challenge description with no problems and it's a creative idea. But here is where I think it could improve: First of all, the background sheet is distracting and also a bit contrived to me. It just doesn't look like a realistic setting. Second is the harsh lighting. I think it would have been more effective if it was somehow softer. I know not everyone has a pro studio, myself included, but I just think this photo could have been drastically better without that white backdrop and maybe with a softer, more natural looking light.
Oh, and be prepared to lose about 2 full points after the anti-nudity crowd gets done with you. |

A Rarityby riotspyneComment: Nice shot Kat. You've got beautiful children. What a set of cheeks on your daughter. The color tone you used for this shot really enhances the light on their faces and also on her jacket. Great trick, I'll keep that in mind for the future. |

All Smilesby riotspyneComment: I like the fact that he's in a suit, but still planted himself right on the ground. The fact that his pose is natural, not posed and cheesy looking is great, and you blurred the background enough for good separation while still adding some nice interest back there. Great work. |

Kissby riotspyneComment: Oh that is absolutely classic. Already it starts. Besides the fact that you caught such a great scene, there's a lot that's really nice in this photo in terms of colors. Great outfit on her, and that blue-grey park bench really adds a nice touch. |

pink hairby middelboschComment: Yowza. An interesting look coming from a child. A bit freaky. Good focus, different and interesting subject. Not too hot about the brick background though. It's not too complimentary and would have been much better left completely out of focus to give just a soft yellow background. |

Hyacinthby RasaiComment: Very nice photo. Nice composition and an interesting flower. Focus seems a bit soft. Maybe a little usm would have helped a bit. |

Lolo dans la luneby grandmarginalComment: I think this is an improvement. The color effect is nice, kind of like a fine art style photo. The black and white was fine too in my opinion. The best thing I think you did is crop out her feet, which had been made to look way too large with the wide angle lens. Without that distraction now, the viewer is left to focus right on her face and hair. Some areas might yet be a little hot, but it's not bad at all. Good editing job! |

Memory like Melodyby sherComment: While the pink is of course the center of attention and what makes it fit the challenge, it's the deep green leaves and their texture that makes this photo stand out. |
