Rose on Woodby stormyComment: I tend to find that placing the main subject in the centre of a picture makes it feel isolated and satic.
The stalk on the diagonal sould add some strength to the composition, however this is slightly lost in the background as it has the same colour tones. |

Cold down hereby johnmkComment: This is a lovely image, however for it to score well in an Ansel Adams challenge I feel it needs to shower more of the tonal range between light and dark |

Canal Bankby mrmorrisComment: Ansel Adams style involved using the full tonal range from light to dark. This image tends to stay in the mid to dark tonal range, I feel that there is opportunity to introduce some lighter tones in the water.. |

Fishing Boat in Morning Lightby joyinlightComment: You have a great image here which beautifully uses the full range of tones. I feel the border is a little too large and becomes a little overbearing..... but I do like the picture |

Japanese Gardenby claudia26Comment: I like the composition here, I just wish you had managed to use more of the tonal range, There is plenty of light and dark, but little mid range tones.... |

Leavesby ladpupmoeComment: I would expect to see a much greater range of tones for this to be a top scorer. That said , I like the composition here. |
