Shocked!by Toby-DogComment: Nice detail in the iris. But the lashes are distracting, along with the moist looking spots. Still the iris alone is captivating. |

Be Preparedby xtabintunComment: Focus is soft, and color saturation seems weak. Or perhaps it is overexposed. Good imagery though. I probably would have made an effort to hide the chain/link/clasp in the upper right too. |

One cube or twoby pumaComment: Not bad at all. I think of Jack Daniels as a square shaped bottle, so the upper left corner feels like it should be the corner of a bottle instead of more glass. Also the different colored highlight that appears there is distracting. However, this is a good photo to me still. |

Beauty of Opalby Loki440Comment: The beauty here is lost by the dull wirey background. Also, there seems to be vains of dullness in the opal itself. Not bad, but I wonder how it would look with a different background and a greater DOF. |

Stapleby mrwaffles989Comment: I like this shot. Did you give any thought to wiping off the fingerprints? I can't decide whether I think they are distracting or not. Also, there is a visible smudge on the top half of the stapler. Good composition. |

Circuit "City"by DrakeComment: Good closeup, but the circuit board is uninspiring. Shadows are too strong in the places you couldn't make the light reach. Fair effort though. |
