Fire, Flower (earth), and Water (and of course air!)by NeilComment: too bad about the lent on your fabric. also if you were going for a centered subject, it's just off center. it's off just enough to become odd looking.
you left out one thing in your title though. because the glass is also earth (sand). |

Fire In the Skyby Geo_GriffinComment: very nice. the only thing i would recommend is getting rid of the triangle in the lower right corner. |

Icy Cosmosby flip89Comment: if the two ice bergs weren't in the lower left corner this shot wouldn't have been nearly as good. compositionaly they give some weight to the left side to counter the right side's dominance, and also give some perspective. |

Running Waterby agwrightComment: very nicely presented. i really like the thick border. probably the most impressive shot i've seen so far. however, i still think it could be even stronger if there was a little more balence. maybe a rock in the lower right corner or something to keep the picture from feeling heavy toward the left. it's a 10 anyway. |

Required Element for Bathing a Birdby fisheyeComment: i like the cropping choice, in that it's much more interesting than seeing the whole bath. however, there is still some room for improvement in creating a cleaner and less distracting picture. the background contains a lot of unimportant distractions that could be eliminated.
you've got a nice start with the crop. |

Motherby casualguyComment: i really like your shot a lot. great minimalism and lighting which creates a very strong clean image. nice job.
your downfall in this challenge could be that your true subject isn't really one of the four elements. however, i still really like it regardless of the challenge. |

Reflectionsby garrywhite2Comment: i like the extra step of depth added by the mountains. the horizon could be a little straighter. |

Splash!by moodvilleComment: way cool. i really like the stopped motion. the only thing that is weird is the strange hazed over eye. |

My Black Beautyby terjeComment: it would have been cool to see this in color with the red band sticking out. then again, i guess it would conflict with the black theme. oh well. |
