Masters Handby CalliopeKelComment: Again, I am baffled that you have never one a ribbon on this site.
Great Emotion, great composition, great detail, great lighting. A top pick for this challenge, and a favorite. A highly underrated shot, and yet another amazing capture from you. |

dpcPeohe.jpgby Bear_MusicComment: Oh my. I do this type of work and this looks like a NIGHTMARE. Oh my again. Curves, nooks and crannies, difficult spot-lighting as well as "mood" table lighting, skylights, archetectural and art to highlight and shiny kitchen parts all in the same space and a DOF that looks about a football field long.
Oh oh oh my. Only six hours? Your a genius.
Good job on this Robert, I don't think I would have done as well... |

The difference between men & boys? They have sharper toys...by Bear_MusicComment: My husband cooks with the same fanatisicm that I shoot with a camera, he saw this just now and came running and talking about your "nice knives" like I have seen some people oogling cars. LOL :)
For what its worth, I dont think its your best shot - but the title is funny and that bottom little number looks wickedly sharp. I know you said you think its overrated - but I think thats why you have done so well. You evoked a snicker and its to the point, meets the challenge and the blue is pleasing to the eye. :) Message edited by author 2005-12-05 18:15:25. |

Llama, Llama, Llama (No Cheesecake)by Mr_PantsComment: DUCK! Thank you, after seeing so many landscape pics this made me laugh and smile. I like the right/center/left perspective too.
Thank you, bumping up from my origional 8 to a 9 for origionality and for making me smile everytime I go in to add some comments......\

Beast of the Marshby Canadian_ehComment: Great catch and the feather is funny and catches the eye. Nice HUH? factor to catch your audience. I would have added a little color saturation and contrast to define the frog more from his surroundings but very nice!

A Different Perspective - Feathersby macrothingComment: Nice sharpness. Great capture on the texture of the feathers, possibly more impactfull out of context of the challenge. Seeing bird-butt made me double take a bit and pay attention.
1-4-1 return.

I like this a lot. The high contrast in B&W, the line of the brush. Spots. Composition that can't be beat. Good job. |
