Nicely composed, excellent lighting, which makes the shot by the way. The out of focus greens in the background make the rock stand out and the frame is full of movement because of the water. Very well done.

A busy bright, light joyful shot. This hanging on the wall would brighten any room. Just one tiny observation would be the gap that the flower bottom right has made in an otherwise frame filling sea of petals. Very nice, I like it.

Nicely lit, not an easy shot to pull off but, you do have complete control over the environment. The very shallow depth of field I suspect is to try to give some depth to the shot but, in my opinion it doesn't quite work. The point of focus seems to be the upper edge of the foreground nut and the edge of the one alongside it. Very little else if anything is in focus, which for me anyway makes the shot seem like a bit of misjudgement. The offset of the image is a good idea to add interest but I thing a better angle could have been found, filling the frame whilst not being central. never the less a very good effort, to be praised.

I don't get how this represents yourself .... alone on a perch? Anyway its not a bad shot but could be cropped to cut out the dark area to the right, getting closer on the bird. The snowflake which appears to be landing on the back of the birds head is unfortunate, it detracts from the photo IMO. Pleasant shot though.

Very nice. The car, the open country road. It works well in mono. There's something about the framing which doesn't quire gell though for me. I think its the empty space top left. If the sky had been more dramatic it would have filled it better. I know you can't control the weather, as much as I'd like to! I'm just wondering if getting right up close and low down to the car would be any better? Use the car to fill the frame on the left, cutting out some of the dead foreground, with the road and trees on the left? Just a suggestion. I still like it though.

Nicely cropped, good exposure. The tinyest of tiny things.... there's something a quarter of the way up, in the door opening.. once I noticed it I couldn't stop looking at it.... I know its only a minor minor imperfection but, in such a minimalist shot I can't help seeing it all the time now. Good use of the fisheye effect, I like the texture of the floor. Well done.

Yep, I like this one the best of this little series of four. Why??? Well the others are good but, the grain just gives it that much more interest, feeling, works the imagination I think. I mean the subject is the same the composition is almost identical. I would clone out the trees to remove the sense of scale, as well as the little bit of guard rail on the lower tier.

Yep, I like the abstract images more that the more straight forward building in a scene type. This is good....
