An elegant high contrast shot. Well lit, well framed, well composed to give a nice balance. The focus may be a little soft but that could be intentional and it works well with the subject. Very good, well done.

Nice take on the theme. I've not seen this particular example of an in-car shot before, points for originality. The few uses of the fish eye effect I've seen in this challenge have been well done and this is not an exception. Inside the car is nice and sharp and crisp with muted colours, outside is blurred and bright with the yellow lines leading us away into the distance. The feeling of speed is quite well achieved. An all round good effort.

Wow, dramatic or what! I had to look at this for a while, turning my head sideways before I got the perspective and realised what I was looking at. How you can bring yourself to do that is beyond me? The colours, namely the blue of the ice is amazing the sweeping shape of the rock leads the eye up the shot to the shoes then the shape of the ice takes you along to the picks. Very well constructed to show the drama of the activity as well as the colours and the textures involved.

very abstract and I usually like that sort of thing, I do like it but... I find myself blinking while looking at it, as if my eyes are not focusing properly but, its the shadows that are not sharp. I appreciate how difficult that may have been, perhaps the auto focus was fooled by the mass white background. For me they needed to be sharp to get the full effect. Also the shadows seem a bit washed out, bluey grey rather than deep shadows. To me that harsh contrast would have worked better. Never the less a very good shot well done.

The interpretation is ok, the colours are great, contrasting well. The sharp focus on the feather? and then the tail being blown about gives the movement impression as if struglling to get free! I love the rusting texture of the barbed wire and the soft green background. Very good.

Nice colours, the vignette effect works well. The main subject is in focus and its colour contrasts well with the background to give that "brightness bursting out of the drab" feel. The green shoots bottom right give the shot some balance and a reference for the flower. Very nicely done.

Well done very clever. A simple elegant image. Well framed and lit sometimes people forget the basics. For this challenge an excellent entry.

A simple telling image. Just made for a mono shot really. For me though you've cropped just a little bit too close on the bottom and the left, just a smidge of black background would be better, in my opinion. Very striking image all the same.

Good idea, shame the PC is out of focus, due to the wide appature I guess? The backlighting of the PC was a good idea to add interest to what could have been a mundane shot. However the light is poking above the PC which I find distracting. Good effort though.

A very difficult exposure because of the high contrast but for me the foreground is just that too dark which detracts from the shot in my opinion. That said its a beutiful location, well framed, the sky has interest, though not a lot. Very nice image.
