I feel as if I should know what this is but I don't. Anyway there are cetainly implied lines. Its interestingly lit, I don't know if that is what gives it the colour. Unfortunately it somehow lacks overall interest and the picture seems 'flat', no depth to it. But a good efort and certainly worth a six, well done.

I gave this a six based on the fact that it above average. The reason being its tightly cropped and fills the frame with the subject. The subject is not 'ordinary", its colourful, the angle gives added interest. But somehow the focusing seems a bit off. Perhaps a greater DOF or manual focusing if posible would have helped. Its a very good attempt, well done.

Bloody hell, what a kick in the guts!

There was me fretting because I almost lost my monopod at the weekend. Returned to the field where I left it the next day and it was still there. Any chance you can claim on insurance?

Hope it doesn't stop you producing more great work.

A good shot of a lovely child but, one I feel which was just that a shot of a child. Good enough in its own right but not one which was taken specificcally for the challenge and therefore does not fit the category well enough to score very well, in my opinion.

I think this image was entered in the hope that the bright contrasting colours would carry it on a bit. They do work well too some extent. The main subject is very sharp and well exposed but it just doesn't work for me. The perch is an unecessary extra and just gets in the way in my opinion.
