It is unfortunate that your ship is a silouhette, since that is the main focus of the picture for me. The challenge was specific, and was not supposed to cause a sillouhette. I am sure it may hurt you in the long run here. Nice capture otherwise.

Something I might have done with her (and I am like you...learn from my experiences). People just like my pictures. Anyway, she has a very short chin. I wonder if a hand placed under her chin without pushing up on the chin, would have given her the 'effect' of having a longer chin? At the same time, it would push that chin out and up to elongate the neck. I think I would like to see her face angled just a little more towards the camera.
