I really like the lighting in this image it is soft and effective with good highlight and shadows. I agree with Eric’s' comment on the editing of the background and the black edges of the outer petals... an additional note the lower left petal has some blemishes on it. removing it before the picture would have been most effective or some spot editing...its all in the details...this is still my largest obstacle to overcome...I tend to see the flaws in others work easier then my own but I'm working on it.

I feel uncomfortable looking at this picture for an online photo challenge. I don't think it is appropriate for public viewing....I wasn't too sure how to comment on this but my girlfriend felt the same as well....technically speaking it is sound for backlighting if it was cropped at her neck it would have scored it much higher, but is a photo that should be keep at home ...IMO

Excellent pic....I looked at this for along time before deciding what to comment on....your model has perfect expression looks very relaxed and totally unaware of the camera. I love how her hair frames her face but doesn’t cover her eyes. The natural light and desaturation of the background I think are perfect for this pic. I don’t like the watch on her hand it’s too close to the flower and battles for my attention. I also think having her foot in focus would help.
