Slightly Imperfect Petalsby wetlandComment: This is one of my favorite photos in the entry. I like the point of view, the colors, and the clarity. Only two suggestions. Have you ever tried Neat Image? I'm wondering if that would improve the quality of the bllue background. I also am wondering if a different composition with more blue sky would have made the yellow more striking. |

Underwater by DamianComment: I tried photographing flowers in water with the light underneath. I wish I had thought of this angle. Ended up with an outdoor shot for the entry. My only suggestion to improve the photo would be to crop it in such a way that the overexposed petals at the top of the photo were left off. When I scroll up enough to "crop" them, the composition still looks good with the part of the flower that holds the petals (don't tell anyone I'm a teacher and don't know what that's called!!) squarely on one of the thirds. I'm also wondering how you got such a nice shot through glass! Good luck. |

Marbleby gav1nComment: I like the composition of your photo, especially the light on the diagonal. I would like to see the color version for comparison. |

Feline beautyby spaque99Comment: I like your idea for the challenge. I would have rated it higher if there had been a different background (found the little squares distracting from the main subject) and if the cat had been in sharper focus. |

Focusby lynnesiteComment: Great photo! I like the focus and tone. I would have cropped the black hill out of the background, but that is just a personal preference. |

Kids Are Back In School & Nobody To Play With Bluesby bongoComment: I can't make any suggestions for improvement. You've met the challenge, your shot is well focused, I like the use of positive and negative space. I tended to rate natural lighting higher in this challenge because it was harder to achieve. But being a mother this shot is very emotive and certainly has its place among the better shots. |

The Hackby PaulMdxComment: Pleasing colors and good clarity. I would have cropped it more at the bottom, but that's just a personal preference. I deducted 1 point because the body was completely silhouetted, even tho the computer screen showed enough detail for you to meet the challenge. |

Late Summer Sunby strangeghostComment: I am amazed at how appealing this photo is! I never would have thought of photographing blinds! Much less that they could look so good. But, that's why I joined DP -- to learn from more creative thinkers like you. Good luck! |
