Strawberryby ladpupmoeComment: Very sharp focus and the color makes my mouth water! Now, I've never won a ribbon -- and you probably have -- but there are 3 suggestions I would offer. 1. My eye keeps going to the shiny spot on the strawberry; diffused lighting may have softened that. 2. Diffused lighting would probably soften the harsh shadow behind the strawberry. 3. I know that the rule of thirds is just a guideline, but I think it would have helped here. The use of that nice white negative space with the strawberry on one of the crosshairs would have really drawn attention it. Hope this is helpful :) |

Girl, schoolgirl in uniform.by nsbca7Comment: Very pretty subject and your lighting is excellent. The lines behind her are distracting and seem to be pulling my eyes to them rather than the main subject. Hope this is helpful! |

Ghost Riderby viajeroComment: I think a little dodging and burning on a layer may have helped give this subject a little pop. I think it's probably a very nice photo, but it's so dark it's hard to tell. The darkness makes it appear a little flat. Hope this is helpful! |

Lunchtime!by PatrolComment: Great focus and composition. It appears a little dark. A dodge-and-burn layer to lighten the area around the squirrel may help. I love the light in his eyes! |
