yep, action! nailed it on pretty much all the technicals! popping colors!

i'm scoring it fairly high, just not as high as i would had you gotten something coming into the frame rather than going out of it. forward facing nearly always beats rear facing, unless there's a point to seeing where something is going...and that's not really the case here. all the same, i'm sure this will do well and i hope you're having fun with it!

this image has a lot going for it, except for one simple, crucial thing...the subject's face.

i'm going to hold that against you. because. obviously, you have the equipment and the ability to use it. and this isn't a typical, adult-eye-level perspective. so, out of all the opportunities that had to present themselves to you on that beautiful afternoon, were you not able to get one of someone bringing the ball at you? of course, i know all this sounds harsh, but, after all, this is dpc and most voters aren't going to tell you why they vote they way they do. now, it's not that i'm voting it low - no, not all all. i'm just not giving it the highest marks. all that being said, keep on clicking. hope you're having fun with it!

ok, this should do well. but, i can't put it at the top. let me explain. what you have here is an eye-level documentation of the marathon. by changing your perspective you could have added some serious interest to the image. check out this image to see what i mean.
