nice idea, too much on the top, and i'm giving it a 3 for being a set up shot and not sports action. call me a jerk, but my take on the challenge was to "Capture the action"...

very nicely done. this represents the difference between a haphazard action grab and a killer shot. you have to be looking for the moment, but you also have to shoot tons in order have everything line up. no telling how this will do in the challenge, but IMHO, it's one of the best. keep it up!

nice work. the tones look a little flat, but there's only so much you can do in basic editing. maybe if you had gone bw and pushed the contrast a bit.
