Riding byby bluecloudComment: this would have been so much better with a panorama crop, coming down to just above the background people's heads. as is, there's too much distraction at the top. also, as much as i like the quirkiness of it, it is hard to tell exactly what you were after with the shot. |

Headerby BeckyTComment: nice moment! and great perspective! could have really benefited from a tighter crop, almost banner-tight. look at it cropped down to just below the top of the ball and up from the bottom to the middle of the three. that would take the viewer right into the action. |

World Cup Wannabe'sby fldaveComment: a much, much tighter crop could have made a couple points difference in your score. you could have come down on the right guy's head and all the way over to the fence post from the left and have had a much different image. |

Ping Pong in the Parkby PennyStreetComment: nice idea, but not the right image to really convey sports action. first rule is to try to include the ball. if no ball, then a facial expression. if no facial expression, a composition that is graphic in nature. you're almost there, but the composition is too imbalanced. nice perspective, though. |

Second Base Is Mineby eaglebeckComment: excellent moment, but seems to be a little out of reach for your lens. the inherent softness takes away from an otherwise awesome shot. |

Basketballby NeatComment: this is ok and it gets the point across, but it's really artifacty. you also could have cropped off the left all the way up to the right-hand side of the window...that light area outside REALLY distracts. |

Hunting For The Perfect Shotby mefnjComment: i get what you're after, but you should have driven out to an open area with no distracting backgrounds, where you could have isolated your subject. that would have been you, 'hunting for the perfect shot' ;-) |

Keep your head in the gameby TammsterComment: i get where you were going, but that's not going to get you much at dpc. fwiw, i think a horizontal composition without as much dead space might have worked better. |

Cruisin' the Reefby yakatmeComment: very nice work. gotta love having the tools and access to shoot stuff like this, as well as when work and play come together ;-)
there is only a small handful of people at dpc capable of a shot like this, and you're one of them. |
