Arizona Highwaysby tfaustComment: Like the composition, very nice light. You left the proper space for title & text. Your image contains alot of detail that could be brought out with a bit more careful sharpening. Also, the background is hazy, a common occurence. Since this is advinced editing, take advantage and select jjust the distant area and use a "clarifying" technique, e.g USM at a radius of 30, amount 30%, threshold 0. |

Nickelodeonby cabaComment: Like the idea, love the crazy reflection. Needs an off-center horizon, and just a little interest in the background, e.g. an OOF beach umbrella.
Colors are flat & drab, needs to be "punched up" by increasing contrast, pulling in black point, increasing saturation slightly & getting rid of the yellow cast. |

Disc Dog Quarterlyby wetlandComment: Great capture! the PS'd in background blur looks very unnatural however. The blur shows around the disc & dog, and the blur is constant even under the dog where it shold be in focus. |

Windmillsby HeidieComment: I like the subject and the composition. Two things detract, first the blue channel is overexposed, and second the file size is very small (17k). When you are compressing, try for 125-145k. |

A Tough Lifeby heidaComment: Very emotive portrait, great use of dramatic lighting, love the background. Wouldn't change a thing. One of my top three for this challenge. |

Solitudeby moodvilleComment: I love this shot. A very sensitive portrait. I predict a top-ten finish. I think the only things i would change are to crop the black bar from right side and carefully clone out the fibrous-looking thigy (plant stem?) at lower right. Very nice work, good luck! |

Untitledby andywightmanComment: One of my top two for this challenge. Love the pose, love the background & soft light. I like how the green in the sweater is echoed in just the spot of foliage in the background. I found myself wishing for just a touch more contrast, & possibly a bit of desaturation of the red in her cheeks (but not much!). Very nice work, good luck. |

portre ressami by kiwinessComment: This is my favorite shot of the challenge. Absolutely beautiful, love the lighting, expression, everything. Her eyes are amazing. Great work. Just for fun I tried applying a touch of soft focus (3.px gaussian blur faded to 33% with the eyes & lips masked to remain sharp) and I really liked the result...
Good luck! |

deep thoughtsby LafaminitComment: Teh soft light works well here. I wish the rail were a bit lower. the over all look is one of "soft focus" however detail is completely missing in the skin, as if NeatImage were over-applied. |
