Abrupt Evictionby xtabintunComment: The subject is good, but the composition, crop, and framing are all off. This shot looks more like something that an insurance adjuster would take rather than a photographer. |

Old Firehouseby tommyd65Comment: Nice photo...I like the green on red and the detail of the wall and window. |

Nine Is Too Many If They're All This Boring (A Day in the Second Life of a Spoiled Cat)by CatbirdComment: I think this is Catbird's image - either way. I think there is too much dead space in this image...why couldn't the clock be closer to the cat? Also, there are image quality issues. It's hard to tell what the objects around the cat are supposed to be (I know that what the objects are doesn't really matter, but that can be distracting, all the same - it looks like a bunny, a tree and either some poop or a mouse, one). Of course this image was staged - it would have to be, and that's no big deal. The danger of staging is that when it's just slightly off, it shows quite explicitly. |

Sunday at the mallby nevillecComment: Too bad you couldn't get a shot of one of those hen-pecked husbands sitting drearily on a bench with many overfilled shopping bags all around him, just waiting for his wife to finish shopping while trying to stay awake. The kid seems interested in the rides, not necessarily bored. Also, the camera doesn't seem focused on either the child or the rides. |

More of the Sameby kwschangComment: Why would this shot convey boredom? Don't get me wrong - technically this shot is superb, and if entered in a wildlife challenge, it would do well. |

We Are Not Amusedby ShakeyComment: Why would this shot convey boredom? Don't get me wrong - technically this shot is superb, and if entered in a wildlife challenge, it would do well. I think the look of this owl is the opposite of boredom - it looks tense and focused. |

Lonely and Boredby crazychick3Comment: Next time try a different angle or perspective. There isn't much to look at in this shot...nowhere for the eye to rest. I understand what you are trying to convey but would not have picked up on the idea had I seen this photo outside of the bounds of the challenge and without the title. |
