Black-capped Chickadeeby cynthiannComment: Very nice shot. Again I think the focus is a little off. Seems to be more on the back of the wing. I don't know what f# your using but it may need to be closed down a stop or two. Still a good shot and nice B&W conversion.

Clowns of the Venice Carnivalby JimiRoseComment: I think a different crop to let the mask take up the frame and better focus on the eyes may have helped. Hope you didn't mind but I did a quick edit to illustrate what I'm trying to say.

Day 1 - Seedsby kteachComment: A very interesting macro. I think the background colors was a good decision and it really bring the subject out. I like the soft focus around the edges and crisp in the middle. The leading lines help this image a lot. Very nice! |
