On Displayby KylieComment: I love the variation in color on this. A great reason to use a large DOF. The peacock with its blues and greens against then brown/reddish tone building. I do agree the peacock seems to be slightly soft focused compared to the building but that can be fixed by using the extraction tool on the peacock while you have him extracted do a focus adjustment with emboss or USM the re-insert him back in the picture. That way you will be only working on the focus of the peacock not the already sharp building. Great shot! Message edited by author 2005-04-26 00:25:28. |

Who Let You In?by KylieComment: Once again a very nice job. Love the focus and the crop. Looks like they are having a conversation, maybe a sibling rivalry, to see who is going to be the dominating one of the bunch. |

Last Lightby BudComment: Nice composition but the hue shift it a bit overwhelming to my eyes. Seems to be to much of a purplish hue to the picture. |

Servant's Quartersby novaComment: Very nice find and nice detail. I don't care to much for the border especially with that tight of a crop. I think a solid white border a bit smaller would of be better. With that said, I still like you photograph. Composed well and lighting good. |

Out To Pastureby cwyouComment: I would of loved to see more details in the abandoned buildings. Nice shot but the subjects are very dark. |

cornerby visaksenComment: Saturation has been pushed to its limits. Photograph really does not say 'abandoned building' to me. It tells me more about the bricks than the building. I think you needed a little more elements in the picture and you would of had a good shot. Wish you well in the challenge. |

Mach 2 with your hair on fire .............by SailingduckComment: I love Military jets and the F15E is one of my favorites. Capable of reaching Mach 2.5 at high altitudes but is limited to Mach 1.8 when armed. You did a great job of capturing the speed and agility of this large fighter. Which BTW is capable of +9 G-load. Now thats extreme. Great Job! 10 |
