Summer Bloomby cools98Comment: Nice photo. With your composition I would of liked to see more of the pedals in focus. Lighting and color good. |

Puffinsby CreativeFlyPhotoComment: What Some wild looking birds. Your picture, as you know, has a fair amount of noise that I have to deal with. I guess from a high ISO or sharping. To me the picture looks flat. What I mean by that there are a lot of white and light colors but little dark other than the few feathers on the bird. The colors could of popped a little more, like on the feet and beaks of the birds. The focus is a little soft, not OOF, but soft enough not to show the fine detail of the birds. The DOF could of been smaller because it make the habitat around the birds not look natural. A smaller DOF would of blended the background to where it would not of destructed me as much. Not a bad picture but that is what if feel separates this picture from a great picture. 5 |

Portrait of a Falconby mexicoComment: Around the edges of this beautiful bird looks to flat like an extraction was done. Causing a distraction to me. Great detail within the bird from head down. BTW I can see the photographer in his eye :). Great shot but I'm just a bit distracted the way the subject blends with the background. 8 |

Got it!by rsaulyteComment: I like your picture because it is nature, are at least looks that way to me. I wish the DOF would of been large having the complete bird sharp as his head. I feel the crop or if not cropped the picture it self should of included the tail of the bird. Lighting good and focus great along with good detail. 7 |

Take a gander at THIS....by RayEthierComment: Great photograph. Not much to pick a part. I do feel it's a little under exposed (or at least that what I see on my monitor) but nothing that would take away from the picture. I do feel that the feet of the birds seem to be a little saturated. A great natural capture with a good clean back drop and DOF. Focus is great through out the photograph and lighting is smooth, not harsh. I don't know what the orange reflections are in the water but to me it works as a balance to all the green. Great job 9. |

Flamingoby paganiniComment: Absolutely beautiful. Tack sharp filled with detail everywhere i look but yet has a smoothing color to it. The DOF could not of been better, almost a perfect DOF if it would not of been for the lower left not being the same color. Not that there is anything wrong with that I am just amazed at how good the DOF is. I could keep going on but you know no I have given this a 10. Good luck. |

Just Boredby SonifoComment: Very nice work Sonifo. Could you please put in the SS/AP/Lens used in the picture info. And maybe in the comment area how you achieved this (on/off lens cap, etc.) I have seen a few of these shots and they look good as does yours. I would like to know what setting to try to do this.
Thanks |

bike.jpgby FirstyComment: A very nice action shot, extreme and fun. The only thing I would of like to have seen would be the cloning out of the flood light behind the back wheel to the base of the ramp. I think it would give the subject more of a free, hanging in air, look. Great lighting and focus. Good job. Message edited by author 2005-06-13 01:20:49. |
