Source of Lightby mpalitangComment: Sometimes simplicity is the answer, and I think you've effectively utilized it.
I like this entry but I feel this could be improved if it was focused a tad bit better, or selectively sharpened a hair more at the screw. The grey backdrop is not very flattering. I suggest going for a more high key approach, or a low key, perhaps a black backdrop. Still, overall a good entry. |

Have a light?by TiberiusComment: A nice revisit of the famous original.
Perhaps a little bit more ambient light to define the perimeter of your composition would have been an improvement, since as it is the periphery is quite dark. Overall a good image with a lot of pop. 7 |

Duskby NitinComment: What rich colors and clarity, even shooting into the sun. I suggest a slight counter clockwise rotation to level out the horizon. The dynamic range (or your post processing) of your camera is quite impressive given the subtle silhouettes of the trees superimposed on the distant hills.
While I think this composition works, perhaps a focal point of something in the lake would have added to the interest of the foreground, like a boat, or a fisherman. I
I'll score this an 8. |

Esterby DufusComment: Good portrait. Would recommend a higher crop to include more of her face. Nice use of negative space and good pose. |

lumière de soiréeby Ecce_SignumComment: Wonderful. Like how it stands out amid the darkened backdrop. Excellent post processing of the sky. Quite dramatic. |

Big Redby maxjComment: What a fantastic place to shoot a challenge. Love the vista. The foreground does not quite hold my attention, but ultimately it is quite a breathtaking shot. 7 |
