Nice idea, the light is just a little too harsh. The shining effect you were going for is a great concept: highlighting the saxaphone and having the player in partial shadow. It does work to focus the eye where you want it, but it is just a little too heavy-handed.

I like your choice to do something different with this flower. The light source and the floating effect enhance so that they add to, rather than distract from, this image. Nice shot. Normally, I would think that the background so close in hue to the subject wouldn't work to showcase the flower, but you make it work very well. Stunning shot.

Fun range of color, and flipping the image creates a startling moment of disorientation. The blown out whites distract a bit. Did you need to do that to enhance the reflection to get the effect your were looking for? Interesting shot.

It took a second, but I got it. The shadow creates the stripes mimicking bumble bees. Very clever. Great use of spheres and lines, especially clever because your lines curve as the shadows fall across the apples. So very nice... an easy 9
