I don't know if you got a lot of comments about this not meeting the challenge. I don't really care whether it does or doesn't (considering that I see the man as your focal point); it is a stunning shot. I love the motif of the masts and the great technical work. I am impressed with the range of values and the snow. I am going to consider the mechanics being the masts and sails. Stunning work. 10

This is technically a stunning shot. It is also a master composition. The brilliant use of line and the great backdrop of the wheel and spokes, further enhanced by the circle motif in the background is brilliant. The cropping is perfect. This image is one of the best in the challenge. Great shot. 10

Great use of silhouette. It adds interest to this shot. I would crop out the distracting background and perhaps just leave the top of the fence and building. The line of the subject is ominous and sinister to me.

I love the high key look of this shot. I am a fan of the extreme and artsy. The blown out whites enhance the "very mechanical" feel of this shot. I also like the dof and that the lines lead my eye to the right (future). Excellent shot and wonderful use of line and motif. 10
