nice use of DOF, but that little not-a-bulb-not-yet-a-flower in front is so high and prominent that it's rather distracting. some water droplets would have added a nice touch, as well.

at first i thought the clouds were smudges on my computer screen! ;) I would have liked to see either a more even sky or more well-defined clouds, and that one stray pole in the lower center is distracting. great idea for a submission!

i love the tones in this one, and i love how you captured the condensation of the hourglass, but the picture itself doesn't represent the challenge category well for me. i'm not saying it has to be blatantly obvious, but it should go further than just a "take my word for it, this is a three minute hourglass." a great shot, regardless!

this looks too much like four to me.. maybe would have been better from a reverse angle, with the two small trees in the foreground. love the lihgting on this one, very moody
