A very interesting curve. Lighting is very good. The worn wood makes a lovely half frame and the leaves harmonize well with the wall and supply needed color. I would have preferred that a little more be cropped from the right hand side and either more of most likely less from the top.

Clipper Ships

There is a lot to like here. The expanse of the grate creates the illusion of open sea as does the remarkable texture and colors of the material beneath. I wish there were more focus on the nearest part of the iron and that the paper clips were replaced with others that had more the appearance of a ship at sea.

I like the composition, framing, cropping. Many of the colors of metal and rust are pleasing though some are not. Reducing the exposure could have helped provide detail in some of the bright areas, but I think actually a shot later in the day would help the most with the overall glare that is present.

A 5 for the composition and choice of subject.

The end of the line

A very lovely location. Very good photographic quality.Composition leaves a lot to be desired. The most forceful lines in the photo, the reflected inverted v at the bottom of the picture as well as the perspective of the rusted float drive the eye into a fallen log that leads the eye right off the right side of the picture as does the horizon of the trees right above. It is very hard to keep one's gaze on the rusted float.

Hard Rock Miner

To be more artful, I believe greater selection of what to include and what to exclude must be taken into consideration. The lighting on the face of the miner also unhighlights the key element here. I like the buildings and mountains in the background. All I can really suggest is to take this from a lower point of view and frame out the left, bottom, and right edges.

Nice shot of can. This needs far more depth of field for the title to be confirmed. I am also curious as to what this would look like at a much faster shutter speed. The spray now looks much like the human eye perceives it. What does it look like on a drop by drop basis? It appears that you have a camera capable of answering that question.

An 8 because the can is really marvellous.

Very nice. How fortunate not to have clutter around building that requires cropping. I get a real sense of prairie by the surrounding space.

Exposure, focus, sharpening, noise filtration all superb.

This does not appeal to me. Colors, shapes,shadows. I can see that others might find it quite lovely. I will give it a 5 though that is higher than its appeal to me.
