I think that the tilted angle and crisp colors take this from being ordinary to very engaging.

One of my three favorites in the Habit challenge. This type of shot has been done many times before, but for me this is an example of a fresh take that has a lot of impact for me. Very well executed IMHO.

My top pick for this one. Just perfect. As a newbie, I owuld love to know later how you achieved the perfect color, softness and clarity of the girls' skin.

The beautiful clock is nicely centered, but the bold horizontal columns keep my focus from staying on the clock with this amount of cropping. I would be interested in seeing a little more contrast or brightening applied and see how it looks; it might benefit from a little sharper detail.

The cropping really hurt this for me.

I just don't see any focal point in particular. Colors are nice and soft, but maybe just a little sharper focus and less cropping would make it a really pleasing arrangement.

Lovely softness to the background. I would like a little sharper focus on the subject and less cropping I think. I don't really see any "center" since the subject takes up almost all of the frame.

Cute dog, but appears to me as more of a snapshot of a pet with no real composition in mind. I think I would enjoy it more with a sharper focus and cleaner greens.

I like the simplicity and set-up (I almost submitted this type myself). I'd like to see the background lightened & brightened with a sharper focus in view. The blur directly above is a bit distracting. The subject itself isn't holding my interest, but that is perhaps my "taste".
