Way with wordsby lytaComment: Nice twist in a challenge full of faces. A lot of noise through out the photo. |

Big Eyesby cabaComment: Very beautiful girl -- focus seem a little soft. Like how you've kept everything except her face in the blue/gray colors |

Polly's First Kissby SkipComment: How on earth did you get this shot?
Might lighten the green in the background to give it a bit more contrast, but otherwise it's perfect. |

Celebrating Sunset, Jockeys Ridge (original portfolio image)by SkipComment: Awesome colors!
The photo feels like it is slightly tipped to the right. I don't know if it's my eye or the weight of the kids on the right side. I wish Beau's leg was in view avoiding the stork look but timing is everything. They appear to be having a great time.
Just wondering -- how would look as a vertical crop with the kids closer to the edge?

Just a wee-bit Closer...by SkipComment: I like this guy's expression -- quite the deceptive smile. The background has a lot of noise which is distracting. Try going into the selective color and adjusting the gray and black to see if it might reduce some of it or at least make it less noticeable. I might try messing with the contrast as well. -- see if raising it might make the croc pop a little more. Right now he's well blended which is want he wants to protect himself but you need him to stand out a bit. I like the crop -- I like that he's looking down on you. It give the photo a feeling of how powerful he is. |
