I like this because it's unexpected on this site. Besides, it's really well done. It's crisp, clean, expressive, nice tones and well composed. If I were going to nitpick; I guess I'd say something about the tip of ear sticking out at left and the glare around eyes (which I only notice because everything else is so smooth).I'm impressed with how you have not lost the dark hair and outfit in the black background. Excellent photo!

Very interesting image. Nice silhoutte and great composition. There seem to be a lot of compression artifacts and the purple is a little too much so to suite my taste. Still like it, though.

Eeek, hope I don't see this in the paper! Must not have been there long, since I can see evidence of blood flow in fingers;) Hope you don't mind a little razzing; because I really like the image. The lighting, composition and focus are quite nice. Just a little more graphic than I'd expect to see in photojournalism.
