I'd never heard of rockpooling until I saw this. Thank goodness for Google! That is a great shot. What I would have given to have been able to do something like this with my Dad. This image fits the challenge perfectly. I like the panoramic crop too.

Mourning Reflections

I'm so glad you posted that image in the reflections thread. I've looked at it a couple of times, but never read your comments. I thought it was just a PS effect. Now that I know it's a reflection, I have an even greater appreciation. Very moody, and great texture.

Not that macro? Are you kidding? Macro means life size or larger. If that's not macro, I'd sure hate to meet your subject:)

I didn't get a chance to vote on the macro challenge, but I would have given this a 10. Great detail, color, DOF and composition. I absolutely love it; and it inspires me to keep on plugging along.

I really like this image. It almost looks like a wrinkled glossy print. Neat optical illusion. Nice colors, focus and crop (Love the diagonal).

Really like this shot. You've certainly captured the human element. This image makes me wish I could sit down and have a conversation with this man. Pretty sure it's salvageable.

This is interesting because of the reflection on the water inside culvert and how the plants visible within circle are lighter. Also like the flowers in front. Nice crop too. I'm wondering what it would be like if there were a little more light in the foreground and front of the tube? Can't decide whether or not I think that would make it better.
