'the entertainer'by suemackComment: Is it really him? Or a look-alike or wax dummy? You've got me intrigued. Regardless, I think the b&w conversion was done well and I love the angles in this image. Well done. |

Glamby Gaby_GComment: Okay, I give low votes to just about every "half face" shot I see. I'm just not a fan of cropping half a face off. That said ... I *do* like her make up. That, and the sharp focus on her eyes has made this image stand out for me. Well done. |

fiddlerby littledragonComment: Man, it just doesn't fit my definition of a "portrait". Too far away, too many other distracting things to look at. If you didn't mention fiddler, I would have suspect I was suppose to look at the closest guy (the one on the right walking away). I would never have even noticed the fiddler (or figured out that he had an instrument in his hands). |

Mr. Bramold Totby UNCLEBROComment: I generally prefer that the eyes be the sharpest point of any portrait. In this case, it looks as if you focused on his nostrils. |

been around the blockby paredesComment: Wow, it doesn't look like it was dark outside ... but look at the size of his pupils. It's as if you took the shot in the dead of night. In any case, I'd like to see a little more of a catch light in his eyes to liven up the eyes. |

At the end of the dayby TrollComment: Very pretty lady with soft lovely light washing across her face. I like the b&w toning as well. Good job! |
