I like the leading lines aspect of this. I think you could crop it horizontally though because the sky isn't doing anything for this picture. The pole coming out behind her head is a little bothersome but not too bad since it's out of focus so you naturally focus more on the girl than on the pole.

I see a hint of a catchlight in her right eye. Both eyes would be helped by having catchlights in them.

This was one of my highest scoring images in the challenge. I'm so surprised to see it clear down at 158th (I guess it's all relative, with nearly 700 images to choose from, they can't all be at the top, still it seems out of place). Anyway, you do great work Kevin. You've provided me a lot of inspiration over the last two years, so keep it up!

I didn't vote on this image, but here are my thoughts:

I think the best silhouettes are the ones that, in spite of their lack of frontal detail, still manage to tell a story. In looking at this image, I can't really tell why you would want me to look at the crane... there's no story here. Well executed, yes. But (I hate to put it this way): boring. (really not trying to be rude, what I mean is, I don't feel compelled to look at it and study it they way I do a stronger silhouette image)
