Color Panesby dclarkeComment: An excellent setup. Congrats to you for having the vision to "see" something like this in your mind's eye and then follow through with a beautiful composition. Beautiful! |

Ice Plant Magicby RLangsComment: Beautifully sharp and well composed. Very nice balance between the splash of flower and the surrounding leaves. Nicely done. |

Dark Sunriseby edc1Comment: A little too dark and gray. The subject matter carries little interest. I think your conditions may have been just too dark for your exposure. |

Jenny and Jackby Prof_FateComment: The composition is fine, the use of leading lines is OK, but the photo seems to lack some umpf-factor. I think it may have worked better if the horses were more prominently featured. At this distance, they're a bit underemphasized, where it feels as though they should be your primary subject. The colors also lack punch. |

illusionsby vasilkovayaComment: Nice twist on a time-tested DPC theme. Perfect setup, perfect execution. |

Golfing in Paradiseby JasonComment: Nice minimalist composition. With only three primary elements, placement is everything. Something about the arrangement of the elements doesn't seem to jive into a coherent whole. It's a very nice photo, but somehow lacks that final punch. Bumped from 5 to 6 though. |

Daybreak by BradComment: I like this shot alot, but I'm ambivalent about the tryp border. It's tastefully done, but my eye is continually drawn to the vertical bars and away from your very compelling and well-lit subject. For your landscape, you've captured that golden moment perfectly, with just the right combo of low-angle light and shadow, and the fog is, of course, awesome. Bumped from 6 to 7. |
