Of all the "blind" shots, this is my favorite so far. Your decision to place objects within the image to draw the eye was a good one. I submitted a "blind" shot to the backlight challenge and, though I liked the result a lot, I suffered in the voting due to lack of subject. I wish you had used all the pixels you had available to you. This image would have benefitted from the larger size.

Whatever this, and I can't place it yet, it is a beautiful and pleasing image. The sheer variety of tones is a feast for the eye. I've spent many minutes so far studying it and I haven't had the desire to click on to the next image. Surely an accomplishment for you and you should do well in the voting. Excellent: I can't wait to see what it is.

Beautiful composition. The undersides of the roads leave an overall dark feeling to the photo, but make the contrast with the greenery and blue sky more striking. Very expressive image!

This is an excellent silhouette but the tilted horizon line is awful. The gradient in the sky from darker to lighter is fantastic.

One of the nicer color entries to this challenge. Nice job enhancing the contrasts while controlling the highlights. The composition is the real strength here though. The scene is very well balanced with nice use of lines. Outstanding image.

Excellent job with this scene. The sky is huge and the clouds are perfect. Your post-processing skills are to be commended. You brought out an extraordinary amount of contrast without overdoing it. Stunning.
