Overall this does seem a bit washed out. Grab a cup of coffee regardless.
Try a real simple adjustment:
Image, Levels, now grab the center pointer under the histogram and slide it to the right until you get the desired richness, watching the middle input box on top of the histogram -> 0.75 seems about right. A lot more could be done, but a simple drop in the Neutrals helps a lot, while retaining the highlights and shadows.

I like what image grain can do for an oof background, just this one is a little over the edge in my opinion. The tones and mood on this are quiet, peaceful, and rich.

The bud you captured here reminds me of a moth or butterfly emerging from it's cocoon. Metamorphosis regardless.
I imagine this doesn't have nearly the impact it did in person.
