Manchester Big Wheelby Zee81Comment: Good timing on capturing the sky's colors and not having just a plain black sky. I like the point of view and crop here. |

Natural Eleganceby IvoryComment: What a beautiful horse portrait!
A little more post-processing was kinda' needed to desaturate the rest along the horizon and a touch in the mane.
As a suggestion, and if you are using Photoshop, try new layer via copy, then add a warming filter (usually the default one that comes up), then while still in the layer, carefully use the eraser tool to erase back the horse. This will add a slightly warmer tone to the desaturated background. |

Summer Dazeby devoidComment: I wish the tonemapping wouldn't affect areas beside sharp-lines like the flagpole. I've had to spend a bit of time cleaned/cloning those odd-ball areas to preserve a more natural look.
This is a good example of not over-doing the new methods avaialble to us. |

Early Morning Surferby cp5140Comment: I really like the tones & colors in this as well as the wide-aspect ratio presentation. The frame works well here.
I'm not sure if it's the size or the lighting, but seems like there is some uneven dodge/burn in this, creating blotchy areas. |

The underground: the dark chapelby witamComment: This looks like something out of a movie set. Is it?
If not, I'm curious as to where this was taken and this shot looks like it should be on the cover of a paperback or similar. |

A Day's Workby madhatterComment: Very nice silouhette and the sun rays are a gift!
Generally a centered main focal point isn't the best for a composition, but in this case, it wouldn't work better any other way.
Well seen! |

Light of Hopeby magueroComment: This is heavenly, pardon the pun.
There are those rare moments in life we get experience for but a mere few seconds, but preserved here, forever.
Superb timing. |
