Two Carats!

Comment:
2 carrats is definitely something to be proud of. I can't help but wonder if the expression on the wearer's face would have been a stronger indicator of pride than a shot of the ring.

Ahhh, standing proud. Nice interpretation. Horizontal framing was a good choice for the composition. What's with the fuzzy thing in the foreground though? It's distracting.

I've been casting votes for quite a few pictures now and this is the first one I actually see what the subject is proud of. Nice job.

I think the picture of the watch would have benefited from diffusing the light. You would be able to retain the light and dark spots without washing out the detail.

I struggle with the composition of this picture. Do I look at the flag or the flare? I think it's okay to have two points of interest, but I don't think it works in this picture. Sorry I can't be more specific.

This is a nice concept and a creative take on the theme. Technically, I think this scene could have benefited from a split ND filter. The sky and hill behind the farmhouse are very light, especially when compared to the foreground which seems a little underexposed.

What would the picture have looked like in vertical format, cropped with the red roofline in the upper right hand corner?

Dang...couldn't the green or yellow flag been pointing up instead of the red?

Nice use of color. I also like the contrast between the formal lines of the building / flag poles and the flowing lines of the flags themselves.
