Frog Soup, Anyone?by RobCourseyComment: Now that's a lot of frogs! Image is very busy and rather hard to read. Wouldn't this be a nsty picure for a jigsaw puzzle? |

Snowy Egretby waterliliesComment: Excellent egret. Exposure is pretty good but some detail lost in the main body. The ripples in the water are very effective. |

Am I Different?by charmayneComment: Great title - very expressive. Your handling if the DoF very well planned and executed. Catchlight is the nearest swan's eye is a great touch. My only problem is that the close swan is very close to the top edge of the frame and merges with the bluw/yellow color boundary. |

Go Southby jonrComment: Nice in-flight capture. I like the colors and the fact that there is still motion in the wingtips. The halo / glow around the body seems a bit artifical - buy I guess the sun could just possibly be behind him (but I really don't think so.) |

Wise Old Owlby SonifoComment: You've proven it again, the most simple images are often the most effective. Great composition and exposure. The only small thing, out of your control, is the white streaks on the window sill. Great job destined for to be in the top 10 in my opinion. |

Leoby C-FoxComment: The backlighting makes this image. It is just right - not blown away and still allows great exposure on the face. |

Kiss Thisby pmichaudComment: Ah, humor. Nice composition and exposure. Cold use a bit more DoF if that would be possible although the oof grass in th foreground is certainly not a showstopper by any means. |

Suburban Wildlifeby davidbedardComment: The image is spectacular, but still has its problems. The blotchiness in the flower petals is very painterly, but very bothersome for a photo. More careful work during post processing would be appropriate. Th background color is PERFECT for the green lizzard. The title seems to imply it's not in a "natural environment?" A catchlight in the eye would add some pizzazz. OK - know my comments do sound like I'm very negative about your image - but the good news is that it's my favorite of the challenge. |

Pure Growthby camiloComment: Mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians living in a natural environment are very hard to pick out. Too much out of focus. |

Impressionsby KaDiComment: Nice idea - but the connection to wildlife (as defined), if any, is extremely remote. The left 1/5 of the image contains nothing of tonal value. |
