Baby Japanese Snow Macaquesby C-FoxComment: Exceptional. Emotional. Evocative. Perfect exposure and focal point. It's already a 10 - move your camera a tiny bit to the right - it becomes an 11!
The title needs less fact and more imagination.
There's a bus to a town called "Ribbonsville" - you are seated in the front seat.. |

Fire in the Rocky Mountain Skyby postoakinversionComment: How do you spell ribbon? If you don't know - you'd better practice as this image is headed for topsville. I'm in total awe - so I'll just shut up and enjoy your moment for a while.... |

Jump Into the Fireby dirtkahunaComment: I love flowers. I love perfection. I truly love this image! You are a very brave person to enter a flower into this challenge - there are (my guess) at least 40 or 50 "others." But - this is heads and shoulders above the pack. I hope you get by the "I hate flowers" crowd and win a ribbon as you really should. I normally try to give a suggestion to improve an image..... but.. there is absolutely nothing that comes to mind. |

Angel by heidaComment: With almost 400 entries, it would be hard to pick out a single photographer - unless that person had an incredible and unique style. But I expect that is the case - another stunning image from Iceland! There are not enough adjectives to describe the emotions this image invokes. It's a 10 now.. remove the border and it's an 11. (If you are not from Iceland - my sincere congratulations on being able to shoot in the same way she does.) |

Extraordinary Powerby PhilosComment: Incredibly simply yet very artistic and graphic. You could say "extraordinary" even. The clear crisp blue sky is great as is the unusual perespective here. The only problem I have is very easily fixed. Your file size is only 15 KB - so there is some banding in the white in the bottom half. The fix is not compressing the image so much - use as much of your 150 KB limit as you need.
Overall - it's still a stunning and creative work of art. |

World's Best Wheatby duncesComment: Oh my. This image shows vision, talent and incredible emotion. The hint of green in the rolled bale adds tremendous credibility. I would normally say the white shirt doesn't work - but with the brighter background..it does.
There's a train to "Ribbonsville" - your destination.

I'll just sit right...here.by sixmacsComment: My first glance and I knew the title was going to be "Bad Hair Day!" Then I looked and you got me... Nice capture and placement. The green band at the top is a nice compositional element. Catchlight in the eye is great. The only suggestion I have is that I'd like a bit more room in front of the beak. |

Open Air Stageby mannjuditComment: Emotional and a bit mysterious. The right 1/3 should be cropped though as it really draws attention away from the story. |
