Wonderful seeing - you-ve captured an elegant scene very nicely. I like the log at the bottom as a lead-in but would be a bit happier if it were more in the left bottom corner. I'd also like to see a tiny bit more of the tree-line silhouette at the top. Having said that - the exposure and focus is perfect - and any post processing you did was done very well.

Perhaps the best part of all, many photographers would have walked right by this wonderful composition wondering what they could find to shoot.

Your title says it all - the sky is fabulous! What a great range of colors and values! I also like the composition you chose - just the right amount of really black at the base to give the image a great foundation. Having said all that - the border, with the white line - draws way too much attention. Your image should finish well above the pack - good - no let's say superb job!

Your idea was very good - as the back lighting really brings out the texture of the cloth. But - the bottom line is that there is not much to explore in the image.

Great seeing. This becomes a very graphic and abstract image with pleasing lines shapes and colors. You've already "de centered" the shoreline "horizon" - but I'd suggest you take even a bit more off the top - leaving about 1/3 of the image as the scene and 2/3 of the image as the reflection.

Perfect lighting - without it, this would be a nice "record shot." With this lighting, it becomes a real winner. Compositioin is very well done.

A very nice capture of a very "fun" scene. Your shutter speed was just right for the water. The foreground at the bottom is a bit distracting and could easily be cropped. The fact that you mentioned it's a candid shot make it seem like you are asking us to overlook some flaws. The title would be far better without the parenthetical part.

Very vibrant colors made even moreso by your choice of a black background. Perfect composition and DoF.. The water drops add a very nice touch. Border does nothing for me at all.

Butterfly Hunt

Pure childhood in a Norman Rockwall scene. It is a perfect image with the possible exception that the grass in the bright area surrounding the boy seems a biot artificial. You should finish very high as it really is an "extraordinary" image.

Roman Nights

Great use of slow shutter speed and apeture to creat both the car streaks and the star burst of the lights. Your time of day could not be better - capturing the deep blue post sunset sky perfectly. The lighting on the small arches is wonderful.

4 Mile Trail

I just did Yosemite's 4-mile trail from Glacier Point to the valley two days ago - what a perfect hike. Your image is a great rendering of this trail. I really like how you used the reddish-brown dirt to provide some additional color. Composition is also very nice with the curvey line of the path walking you through the image.
