This is a magical thistle with perfect DoF to blur the background and the repeating thistle pattern. Exposure = PERFECT. Composition on the diagonal is an excellent choice.

Hard Licker

Way cool. Just the perfect amount of light on the face. Composition is extremely effective. Teeth may be a bit too white, but I expect that is due to the dark areas in which they live. I think I hear the ribbon train heading in your direction - listen for the whistle.

Purple Iris

Ah - this is a great capture of a very difficult shot. Your selection of colors is superb. The star flare on the top of the drop is a magical addition. There are two things that may bring your score down a bit: a) It's been done many time before (but this is one of the best I've seen.) and b) The border doesn't help for me. Great job....
