A nice peaceful scene. Where I live, all the leaves are gone by this time, but I'm not grading you on that ;) I like the overall look of the stream, and the angle that you've chosen, but personally, I don't care for the silky looking water that is so much in vogue these days. Still, a 7 from me.

The background is distracting and the flash is a little overpowering. If you would have cropped much closer on the dog, the photo would have been more effective for me. 5
