Non-conformityby orussellComment: The rich blue background saves this from being ordinary. The subject is good, and the kink in the line, just at the centre of the picture is, I think where it should be. |

1,784,394 Parallelsby ellamayComment: I counted them and I got a different result. Never mind. You have found just the right viewpoint. I don't suppose there are too many cityscapes with quite that number of parallels. |

The Grate Ball Of Yarnby DufusComment: Very good arrangement, and beautiful colours; pity about the loss of focus to the right, which is quite disturbing. |

Futuristic Highwayby xcharrierComment: Looking at this, I feel as if I am in a plane that is banking sharply to the right. It is a very good illusion. Is it a structure, possibly an arch. |

Trees in Parallel Evolutionby drgsoellComment: I take it that these are growing trees, trimmed into this rather stiff shape. But what a good subject for this competition. The fact that they vary a little takes away any feelings of repetition. I like this one. |

Plain Parallelby andreyuaComment: This is a little more interesting thatn most of the rail pictures since the opposing lines of the sleepers, which you expect to see are not very obvious. nonetheless, I think we need a bit more imagination. |

natural orderby lakritstrollComment: I'm very fond of ferns, so your picture hits the spot. Amazing how nature's parallels are so much more beautiful than ours are. |

the way to the gateby arbil14Comment: It's hard to make out if this passage is going up or down. It keeps changing for me.
But the scene is rather bare and uninviting. A figure of someone walking would have given it scale and perhaps a bit more interest. |

Woodland Pier at Low Tideby matiscroComment: This is a really interesting shot. The fallen boards? at the end of the pier mean that the lines are converging on 'something' instead of just diappearing into the haze.
The water is exceptionally good and almost seems to move as I look at it.
Couldn't be better. |

Next Stopby jeepuzzComment: I think you are in good company here. Disappearing railway lines are here in abundance. These are as good as most, but again, I think the subject is a bit too 'easy' and available to be really interesting. |
